Betty Lacey, our
missionary to France, will be presenting her ministry during the
p.m. worship time

Betty Lacey, Baptist Mid-Mission Missionary to
France, : will be sharing her ministry with us
on August 9th, as she teaches a combined
Sunday School class in the morning and her
ministry with us during evening worship.
Serving at Scioto
Hills: The following young people from our WBC
family have been serving on summer staff at Scioto Hills and are raising
support (prayer
and financial) for their ministry.
Kristin Wilson - serving as camp nanny (support goal is $1400);
Oliver Thompson - serving as adventure tech (support
goal is $600); Abby Edwards - serving as
lifeguard (support goal is $600); Cassie Edwards - serving in
petting barn (support goal is $600). If interested
in giving a love gift, please mark your gift
"2009" Summer Camp Staff.

interested in being baptized and/or learning about membership at
Wheelersburg Baptist Church, this
class is for you. Please sign-up on the

Evening Home Fellowships are coming!
: An opportunity to meet in each other’s homes for a time of
fellowship
designed for us to get to know God’s Word and each other in a
relaxed environment. The next planned fellowships will be on
August 16th.
Please check your schedules and be much in prayer about hosting
and/or attending this fellowship.
If you would like to host a home fellowship, please let us know in
the church office as soon as you can. Sign up sheets for the August
16th Home Fellowship

CRADLE Golf - for - Life: August 29th
Training Pastors in Eastern Europe—This
November Pastor Brandt will return to Eastern Europe to represent our church in
teaching church leaders with our missionary, Dave Dernlan.
They will be teaching in
Moldova
one week and in
Romania
the other week
(training Gypsy church leaders).
If you would like to give a gift to help make it possible for
a Moldovan or Gypsy church leader to
participate in this biblical training course, please designate your
gift “Training Pastors in Eastern Europe.”
It costs us approximately $150 to enable one person to participate
in the week-long educational opportunity.
