Return to Quiet Time Bible Study Series 7
7 Minutes That Could Change Your Life! 1 Peter "How to Live for Christ in a Non-Christian World" It’s not easy to live for Christ, especially since the world is hostile to Christ and His people. But this is not a new problem. The first century followers of Christ faced the same challenge. They received great encouragement from Peter’s first epistle, and so can we…by using this Bible Study journal. Seven minutes. That’s not very long, not really. Five weeks. That’s not very long either. Yet seven purposeful minutes a day for five weeks could change your life forever, for real! This booklet you hold is intended to help you as an individual, along with your brothers and sisters at Wheelersburg Baptist Church, develop the wonderful discipline of a daily "quiet time" with God. Here is what the daily, seven minute plan looks like… 1 minute: Pray & ask God to teach you from His Word5 minutes: Read God’s Word and answer two simple questions1 minute: Pray & ask God to help you apply His WordIt’s quite simple, yet the results can be eternally significant. If you will invest seven minutes a day (I would recommend in the morning before you begin your other daily responsibilities), you will get to know God and His Word better. Seven minutes a day for five weeks will take you through 1 Peter. "Can I go longer than seven minutes?" you ask. Sure, if you want to! Seven is just a good place to start and every good thing starts somewhere. So I challenge you to begin here... Start with 7!!!Seven Week Bible Study Schedule for 1 Peter: Week One: M: 1:1-2 T: 1:3-9 W: 1:10-12 Th: 1:13-16 F: 1:17-21 Week Two: M: 1:22-25 T: 2:1-3 W: 2:4-8 Th: 2:9-10 F: 2:11-12 Week Three: M: 2:13-17 T: 2:18-21 W: 2:22-25 Th: 3:1-6 F: 3:7 Week Four: M: 3:8-12 T: 3:13-16 W: 3:17-22 Th: 4:1-6 F: 4:7-11 Week Five: M: 4:12-19 T: 5:1-4 W: 5:5-7 Th: 5:8-9 F: 5:10-14
